Jeju SK has completed the formation of a coach team to assist head coach Kim Hak-beom in the 2025 season.
Jeju announced on Sunday that coaches Cho Byung-kuk and Cho Jae-chul have joined the coaching staff ahead of this season. The two coaches will be joined by former head coach Kim Jeong-soo, goalkeeper coach Cha Sang-kwang, coach Lee Sang-ho, physical coach Kim Chan-bin and analysis coach Lee Joon-seok.
Coach Cho Byung-guk is a former national team central defender and has gained various experiences in Japan, China, Thailand, and Australia as well as in the K-League. After retiring from active duty with South Coast United (Australia) in 2020, he began his leadership career as a coach for the Australian amateur team under the age of 13 (U-13) the following year.
From 2022, he was appointed as coach of the Indonesian national team led by head coach Shin Tae-yong and has been active until recently.
Cho was born and raised in Jeju Island from Seogwipo Elementary, Seogwipo Middle, and Seogwipo High School. He made his professional debut with Seongnam Ilhwa in the 2010 season and played in the K-League until the 2020 season. He played for the Cheonan City Football Club in the K3 League for two years from 2021 and retired. The two coaches are related to Kim. They understand the philosophy and direction under Kim's guidance when they were active.
